Advanced Sculpting
World Creator lets you easily create a terrain from scratch and adapt existing landscapes with built-in sculpting tools. The application ships with many brushes and enables you to import your custom brushes. The usage is as simple as in other paint applications.
Grid-Based Sculpting
Our patented, grid-based terrain sculpting algorithm lets you create stunning terrain shapes quickly. Additionally, it allows you to perform specific operations, such as copy, rotate, tilt, and scale, on existing terrain features.
Colored Stamping
World Creator lets you import custom height-and color maps as a stamp, which you can use to create and extend your existing terrains. You may import DEM data or terrains from other applications and assemble a new landscape inside World Creator in real time.
Real-World Data powered by MapTiler
Sign up at MapTiler and connect to their real-world data service through World Creator to get the locations of your choice imported. With World Creator, utilizing real-world data for your productions is no longer a challenge (you must sign up on MapTiler to use the service).
Path Tools
World Creator lets you create rivers, roads, mountain ranges, canyons, and more with our unique vector-based and distance-field-based path tools, giving you even more creative freedom. Around October 2023, we will also have our amazing River Generator integrated into World Creator.
Hint: Specifically for rivers, we have created a fantastic river system available in October 2023. That system lets you create automated flows, rivers, and deltas. Biomes fluently merge into each other and may have completely different color and filter settings. World Creator's new terrain system efficiently handles such large amounts of data in real time. With that in mind, in real-time, you have an unlimited range of possibilities, such as biome-based generation, biome painting, biome masking, and so much more.
